Chili: Born 8/25/21 went home to be with the Lord 4/22/13. Predeceased by his wife Isobel, son John David, brother Colin and sister Martha. Survived by his wife, Ruth; daughter, Ruth Ann (Randy); son, Colin (Andrea); daughter-in-law, Jayne; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. He was born in Glasgow, Scotland came to Canada in 1923 and then to Rochester in 1963. John retired from Kodak in 1983 as a plumber/pipefitter. Actively involved with his church family, Cornerstone Bible Chapel. Loved his family, gardening, old hymns, studying God's word and vacationing in Northern Ontario/Florida.

Private burial. Friends are invited to his Memorial Service Sunday May 19th, 3 PM at Cornerstone Bible Chapel, 3231 Buffalo Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Camp Li-Lo-Li.
