Josephine "Fi Fi" (Vacca)
Rochester: Josephine passed away unexpectedly Nov. 6, 2012, at home, after a long, happy life. She was born March 9, 1925, in Rochester, to Camille and Anthony Vacca. She loved her family above all things - especially cooking for them. She was a devoted mother and wife, a wonderful grandma, a friend to many, and a diehard Yankees fan.
Predeceased by her parents; her husband of 47 years, Tony Arlauckas; sisters, Celia (Dick) Lallucci and Annie (Ron) Orlando; her brothers, Paul (Nin) & John (Margaret) Vacca. Survived by her dear and caring sister, Isabel; children, Tony Mike (Marion) Arlauckas, Barbara (Andrew) Jarzyniecki, Joanne (Charlie) Bakeman, Joseph Arlauckas (fiancée, JoAnn Hansen); grandchildren, Karla Jarzyniecki, Dana (Jay) Vasser, A. Chris (Kelly) Arlauckas, Shannon Arlauckas, Chelsie & Jessica Bakeman, Dane, Tess & José Arlauckas and their mother, Kathy; many cousins, nieces and nephews. Josephine's visitation will be Friday, 4-7 PM at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between Rte. 390 & Long Pond Rd.) Her funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday at 12:30 PM at Holy Cross Church, 4492 Lake Avenue, Rochester. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
