Trout, Perry R. (Hotchkiss)

Greece: Beloved husband and best friend of Virginia Hotchkiss Trout, died on June 18, 2014. He was born in Burley, Idaho and grew up on the irrigated farm of his parents, Perry and Bertha with his sister, Mary and brother, Cy who are deceased. Perry graduated from high school as valedictorian. He fought in the European Theater in WWII with the 63rd infantry division where he was awarded a bronze star. Upon discharge, he attended the University of Idaho and graduated with a BS in chemical engineering. Perry came to Eastman Kodak in Rochester where he met Virginia. They were married for more than 60 years.

He leaves sisters-in-law, Pauline Crane and son, Forest (Rose) Crane and family of Medford, OR, Madeline (Harry, deceased) Hotchkiss of Webster, Beverly (Jack) Vickerman, Darrell Hotchkiss and Jon Gilbert Fox, Kevin (Bridget) Hotchkiss, Barbara (Rick) Schumacher, Nancy Kalin and Joe Capurso, Chris (Scott) Daniels and families; wonderful neighbors and good friends, Bill and Carol Baker and family.

Perry enjoyed worldwide travel, theater, music, library lectures, books and Hochstein concerts. He was a wonderful person and will be sorely missed by all.

Most grateful thanks to the wonderful doctors and staff of the emergency and MAT units of Rochester General Hospital and Leo Center Hospice. They did everything they could for Perry.

Friends may call Sunday, 2-5 PM at the funeral chapel (1031 Ridge Road, Webster). A private service for family members will be held Monday.
