Ursula R. (Bianchi) Cavalcanti

Cavalcanti, Ursula R. (Bianchi)

Cavalcanti; brothers, Orande, Andrew "Mitch", Anthony "Tony", Victor "Doc", and Louis Bianchi; her sister, Mary B. Weisner.

She is survived by her sister and best friend, Frances (Bianchi) Powell; her sons, Michael (Sheila Fustanio) Cavalcanti, William (Marge) Cavalcanti and Richard (Ann Marie Allocco) Cavalcanti; her grandchildren, Lisa (Jeff) Bleier, Michelle Cavalcanti, Nicole (David) Hartley, Lauren (Brian) Rouzer, Amy (Michael) Coyle, Ellen Fustanio and Julie (Breck) Kling, Andrew (Lisa) Allocco, David (Zory) Allocco; her great-grandchildren, Josh Loeffler, Michaela and Luke Bleier, Connor and Annalise Coyle, Hannah and Gabrielle Sumey, Dylan and Ridge Kling, Cody and Drew Allocco; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

As a wife, mother, grandma, sister, niece, cousin and friend, Ursula embraced the values of family and friendship over everything else. In her early years she spent a great deal of time attending swimming and diving meets in enthusiastic support of her sons all over the state of New York. In her later years, she was an avid participant in her son Ricky's volunteer efforts at the Laurelton Fire Department. She was the head of a "magic" kitchen which was open 24 hours a day for her sons and their friends without any notice. Food seemed to come from the woodwork. A mainstay of that kitchen was the ever percolating coffee pot shared especially with her sister Fran. Frugal as the day is long, never willing to throw anything away, Ursula was always willing to give to others. It was hard to enter into her home without smelling fresh bread baking and her voice calling out, "here, I have something for you to eat."

Ursula's love of life and family will serve as examples of how to live for all who were lucky enough to know her.
