Robert Wilson Obituary
"Blackie"
Rochester: Bob will be missed by family and friends. He was a member and volunteer at Boy Scout Troop 19 Tay House. Bob earned the Eagle Scout and Silver Beaver Awards. He also received the Wilson Compass Award for Recognition for Outstanding Adult service to Tay House. Bob served in the Army and was stationed in Germany during the Korean War. He worked for many years for The Real Estate Board of Rochester. He was born June 4, 1930, son of the late Raymond and Kathryn Nolan. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patricia; daughters, Susan (Patrick) Duggan, Ellen (Richard) Lalier, Karen (Frederick) Warner; grandchildren, Derek and Dana Duggan, Taylor and Kelle Lalier, Caelyn and Frederick Warner; sister, Ellen Alhart; several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Services will be held Friday 10 AM at, Our Lady of Lourdes, 150 Varinna Dr., Rochester. Interment at Ascension Garden Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tay House Troop 19, Robert "Blackie" Wilson / Rob Lewis Memorial Fund

I am sorry to miss the funeral as I will be on the ambulance that morning.The last time I saw Bob was as a member of the Pittsford Ambulance. We responded to a call at your home. Bob was given a shot of glucose and he sat straight up looked across the room and said " Dick Beers, what are you doing here?"
I remember Bob from 550 West Main as a generous and helpful friend.

Blackie was my mentor and my dear friend and I will think of him and miss him every day... he was always concerned for the 'other' person and always cared more for them than himself.. he was a true "mensch" and I loved him dearly.. Rest well dear friend.. we'll meet again...

My sympathy to the Robert Wilson family. Bob was part of the double-duo with Bob Elwell at the Real Estate Board of Rochester. He was bigger than life. Bob always liked to laugh and tell stories. He was a class act. RIP.
