We go back to 1947 when we first met on a double date - Irving met Gertie and I met Gussie Brass. Irving was in Toronto at that time taking a gemology course. He was Gussie's first cousin. We had many heartfelt contacts through the years. My condolences. With Love.

I'm sorry for your loss. I worked with Mr Mann in physical therapy. He tried so hard working on his balance, strength and endurance. I asked him all about his history with storming the beaches of Normandy and his run-in with a german tank where he got the pistol he brought in to show me. I was fortunate to be in the nations capital last summer and said a small prayer of thanks thinking of irving at the world war 2 memorial. Men like him is the reason the US is a world power. I'll miss him and hope he's hugging his wife right now. The world is just a bit colder without him. I am thankful for the thumbprint he left on me.

I will miss Mr. Mann's humbleness. His stories from the war and how he started the family business fascinated me. His visits to our office were always pleasurable. I was very lucky to have known him.
