Pittsford: June 16, 2016. He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy; sons, Shawn (Douglas Gill) & Jason (Katie) Kammerdiener; daughters, Heidi (Gordon) Youngman & Leah Kammerdiener; grandchildren, Gordon, Jonathan, Tiffany Youngman; great-grandchildren, Mikaila & Baeleigh; sisters, Alma Gephardt & Helen (Donald) Toy; many nieces, nephews & dear friends. Predeceased by his parents, George & Hazel; sisters, Pearl, Charlotte & Violet; brothers, Ivan & Lee; brother-in-law, Jeffrey Miller. Jon had a career at Xerox as an Engineering Manager, followed by a second career as a RE/MAX broker/owner & active member of the real estate community. He was a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Funeral Services will be held on MONDAY at 11 AM in the All Seasons Chapel of White Haven Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at 40 Kitty Hawk Drive on MONDAY 7-9 PM & TUESDAY 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to a cancer charity in his memory. Jon was the best, most helpful BROKER-OWNER who introduced me to the Pittsford real estate market. As a very new agent from Canandaigua I was so un sure of this market; but Jon encouraged me, told me how good I was; how I had that potential personality to make it in real estate. I had so much help, training from his other agents I could never thank them enough for their confidence in me... so grateful for the opportunity they gave me to move on. Jon, you were the best. Your Dad was one of the greats, between making sure we were eating enough, making Dad jokes, and being brave enough to drive a car full of teenage girls to the cottage, your Dad made a lasting impact.
