Dear Margaret, Liz & all of the Crowley family: your mom's brief obituary speaks volumes about the kind of person she was, and explains how she raised such a terrific family. Her children carry many of her traits, which is an impressive legacy to both of your parents. Please know that you are in my prayers during this difficult time. Sally was such a loving and kind neighbor to all she met, but she also seemed to well manage her household among her busy life with other people. She was a loving friend to my wife Betty who passed away last September. As dementia took Betty's mind away, Sally would lead her on walks down the street when it was unsafe for Betty to go alone. She and Betty shared kindred spirits of compassion, love for God, love for others, especially the unloved and vulnerable. Sally was a delightful light of Jesus in this world, and now she gets to see the One she frequently worshiped. I pray for the loved ones left behind, but we know that we can join her in glory some day and our sorrows will be over with that reunion. I will pray for your sorrow and grieving to be thorough and complete in its season, and that there will be comfort and companionship, especially for Bill.
