I never knew things like this existed until today, you´ve been gone for 7 years now. Things have not been easy I´m not going to lie , I´ve been thru real tough times but only they strong survive and I´m still standing strong. I wish you was here to give me advice about fatherhood , it´s a lil rough especially with little girl. Everyday it´s a learning experience and she´s so beautiful and bright I just know you would´ve loved her. I´m still trying to heal and hide my scars from the world but this is a cruel world out here. I just pray I make it home safely every night but I love you forever , you´ve been missed truly and Bianca gotten so big , smart and she´s amazing at basketball I know your so proud of her

Melvin, you were one of my first friends, moving to the Roc from PR back in 80's. Running around over there on Harris st. Lol. Didn't see you much as we got older, but when we did run into each other, it was always love. Continue to Rest in Peace my friend

Brother every single day that goes by get harder i never thought that this would of happened to you and my heart is so cold now don't know who to trust you were my brother but you were also my friend and who am I gonna have my crys with now you and I had talks all the time that I couldn't talk to anyone else about I'm hurting...I'm so hurt I love you and gonna miss you forever and ever never will I heal from this it was hard to lose our big brother Derrick we never healed from losing him 16 years ago still think about him everyday since then now the family has to struggle to pick up the pieces from losing you I just don't understand how people can do something like this without thinking of how you are destroying families and for what because nothing in this world can amount to a life...love you brother always and forever
