Brighton: Friday, February 22, 2013, at age 40. Andy is survived by his beloved wife, Meghan (Hammill) Menendez, mother, Ann Wolfe, Uncle Reed (Linda) Hamilton, cousins, Megan, Amy and Carrieand his Hammill family.
Andy graduated from Brighton High School in 1990, and served in the US Navy. Andy proudly served as a volunteer firefighter for the Hamlin Fire Department, was an avid motorcyclist, and had a passion for all things culinary. He was a devoted husband, family member, and friend. Andy's smile could light up a room. Andy fought a courageous battle with cancer, with his wife at his side. Andy was loved by friends and family near and far; he inspired us all with his strength, humor, and tenacity. Andy lived and loved fearlessly and will always be remembered by those whose lives he touched.
Friends may call Monday from 4-7pm at the Anthony Funeral Chapel 2305 Monroe Ave. A Memorial Mass will be held 9:30 am Tuesday at Blessed Sacrament Church 534 Oxford St.. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery.
