Greece: Friday, October 11, 2013, at age 92. Survived by his son, Jim (Lynn); 2 grandchildren, Jamie (Tracey) & Gia (Carl) Rosati; 4 great-grandchildren, Taylor, Anthony, Nicholas & Isabella. Predeceased by his wife, Sally (Lipari); and his parents, Pasquale & Margarita of Costar Street. Survived also by his brother, Jim (Marilyn) Cucinella of FL (City of Rochester schoolteacher); cousin, Sonny (Mary Ann) Veltre; in-laws, Ann Rotella, Sam Lipari & Ike Lipari; dear friends, John & Jennie Scavulli.
Tony was a WWII Veteran, a graduate of Jefferson High School, and went to evening classes for 13 years to earn a B.S. in electrical engineering while employed by Xerox.
The family would like to recognize his many caregivers ("Tony's Angels") at the TCU at Unity Hospital, and for prior memory care at Atria. Regardless of his teasing of marriage proposals, he appreciated and loved all of you.
A special acknowledgement to niece Joy Lipari and Jeannette Cooper of Home Instead, Sue Tuminelli, and exceptional care by the blessed Dr. Jack Robb.
There are no calling hours. Entombment will be held privately by the family at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery on Tuesday. His life will be celebrated religiously at a Mass at St. Lawrence Church at a later date. Charitable contributions may be made to the donor's choice, or to the memoriam of beloved nephew John Lipari through ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) Foundation of Rochester.
