Quartley, Barbara M.
Chili: Passed away Saturday, January 26, 2013 with her devoted family by her side at age 85. Predeceased by her true love Harold C. Quartley after 40 years of marriage; parents, James & Mae King; sister, Alice Rankov. Survived by her sons, Thomas (Anne) & Dave (Regina), daughter Mary Dixon. Beloved grandchildren Timothy (Tricia) Quartley, Erin Quartley, Tamara (finance Justin Myers) Dixon, Robin (Jesse Tiano) Dixon, John (Tina) Quartley. Great-grandchildren, Alex & James Quartley, Tawna Roberts, David and Chelsey Quartley. Great-great-granddaughter, Leighla Roberts. Dear sisters-in-law Betty Gautieri & Dorothy Quartley; brothers-in-law Henry Kiesel & Nick Rankov. Many nieces, nephews, cousins-in-law, Carol (Norman) Rogers & cherished friends, including, Jeanne King, Mary Reeves, Shirley Gosnell, Carol Webb and Ruby Burns.
Barbara was a long-time secretary at the former St. Helen's School in Gates. She was totally devoted to her family & was known for her enjoyment of family events and taking pictures to record the memories. She will be greatly missed. The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at St. John's Home, 3 South & Lifetime Care Hospice.
Friends may call at the Leo M. Bean & Sons Funeral Home, Tuesday, 3-7. Furneral Mass, Wednesday, 10am at St. Helen's Church, 310 Hinchey Rd. Interment Holy Angels Cemetery in Scottsville. Donations may be made to: The Humane Society at Lollipop Farm or a charity of choice. "Until we meet again. Dear Mom".
