Truman has great memories playing on the basketball team with Carl. His spirit was infectious; his smile could light up the gym. You cannot say his name without a smile coming across your face. He will be missed.

It was a true pleasure caring for Carl on our Unit (6-3400) at Strong. His sense of humor was delightful and I will always remember walking into his room to discover him and a group of buddies playing poker at the round table in his room - they were laughing and having a great time!
Please accept our deepest condolences,
From the entire staff of 6-3400, Hematology/Oncology Unit at Strong Memorial Hospital.

We have lost one great guy! My association with Carl was at Sugar Creek -- where he was a friend to all. Anyone that needed help, he was there, willing and able to do all he could.
