Chodak, Christine J. (Blaszkowski)
Irondequoit: October 9, 2009 after a 3 year courageous battle with brain cancer. Predeceased by her parents, Leon and Jadwiga Blaszkowski; and sister-in-law, Margaret Streb. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Charles; her sons and daughters-in-law, James and Annmarie, Craig and Rebecca; her grandchildren Elizabeth, Laura, Alison, Ayana, Nicholas and Charlie; her brother and sister-in-law, George and Donna Blaszkowski of PA; her nephew, Christopher; her nieces, Corrie, Lauren and Donna Lynn; and very good friend, Virginia Alaimo, cousins and other family in Poland. A member of the Polish Falcons Nest 52. Christine's family would like to thank Dr. Korones and his staff at the Wilmot Cancer Center and the staff and volunteers at the Sunset House.
Family and friends may call MONDAY 4-8 PM at the RICHARD L. FELERSKI FUNERAL HOME, 570 Kings Highway South @ Titus Ave. Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Stanislaus Church, Tuesday morning @ 9:30, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sunset House or Friends of St. Stanislaus would be greatly appreciated.
