Webster: Mon., March 17, 2014, age 89. Predeceased by her husband, Harold, who died in 2012; 2 brothers, Sherman Weiner and Dr. Norman Weiner. She is survived by daughters, Judith Forman of San Diego, CA, Susan (Edward) Einowski of Portland, OR, and Marcia (Floyd) Fronius of San Diego, CA; son, Steve (Brenda) of Webster; 2 brothers, Alfred (Claire) Weiner, Poway, CA, and Walter (Lucie) Weiner of Fairport; sister in law, Diana Weiner; 4 grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Elsie Forman was born January 8, 1925 in Rochester, the daughter of Samuel and Lillian Weiner. While attending Brighton High School, Elsie worked in local bookstore. After high school graduation she attended the University of Missouri. She married Harold Forman, son of Frank and Sadie Forman, on May 1st, 1945 at Temple Beth El with Rabbi Fisher officiating. The couple resided in Carlton Station, New York where Harold ran the Carlton Cold Storage and his produce business. Elsie was active in the PTA and TWIG, a hospital support organization. In the late 1960's Elsie and Harold moved to Webster, New York to join Elsie's brother, Walter Weiner, in operating Webster Drug Store until Harold's retirement in 1990. Harold and Elsie made many new friends in Webster while keeping in touch with their Albion friends. Elsie was a wonderful cook and enjoyed playing cards, growing orchids, watching birds, golfing, bowling, knitting, reading, shopping and visiting family. Harold and Elsie were famous for their Icicle pickles. In 2006 Harold entered The Maplewood Nursing Home and Elsie joined him in 2010. Elsie was a member of Temple Sinai. Friends are invited to a Memorial Service 10:00 AM, Friday, April 4 at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster. Interment to follow at Webster Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to a .
