Irondequoit: 2 Corinthians 5:8 "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord". A servant of Jesus Christ went home to be with his Lord on 12-01-2012. He leaves behind, until they meet again in heaven, the love of his life for 52 years, his wife Lillian (Mosher); beloved sons, Scott (Devini), Brett (Lisa) and Todd (Debbie); grand-
children, Seth, Sarae, and Reuben, and a special little boy that referred to him as "the old grampa", sisters in law, Phylis McBride, Delores (Art) Finewood, Irene Mosher and Joan Simpson. Many nieces and nephews.
Fred had been the Founder and Pastor of the Calvary Bible Baptist Church at 746 Norton Street for 37 years, "where the Bible is the difference". His love for Christ allowed him to teach, preach and shepard for his Lord knowing the truth that salvation is by grace and not by works. He will be greatly missed and loved.
Pastor Simpson's Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, December 8 at 10:30 a.m. at Irondequoit Cemetery, followed by a Celebration of his life at 1 p.m" at the Open Door Bible Baptist Church, 350 Chili Scottsville Road. In lieu of flowers please honor Pastor Simpson with a donation to the Calvary Bible Baptist Church Mission Fund.
