Cudzilo, Henry J.

Irondequoit: Thursday, February 21, 2013 at age 91. Predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Adell. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Bega; 3 sons, Michael (Karen) Cudzilo and twins, Donald (Kris) Cudzilo and Dennis (Mary) Cudzilo; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Viola Cudzilo; several nieces and nephews. Henry was a veteran of WWII, a survivor of Pearl Harbor and Guadalcanal, 25th Infantry Division. A recipient of the Bronze Star. He was a retired Regimental Command Sergeant Major (98th Division), Regimental Command Sergeant Major, 391st Regimental Officers Association, a long time member of the Fort Drum Retiree Council, Past President of Pearl Harbor Survivors Association. Henry and his friend Mario Fabi were Co-Chairmen of Rochester Area Military Retiree Luncheon Group. He was Past Assistant Scout Master, Troup 70, Boy Scouts of America.

His family will receive friends on Monday 4-7 PM at the Michael R. Yackiw Funeral Home, 1650 Empire Blvd., Webster. On Tuesday, please join the family at 10 AM at St. Stanislaus Church, 1124 Hudson Ave., Rochester for his Funeral Mass. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
