Leet, Jack W.

Butler: Age 91, the son of Horace Leet and Hazel Dickens Leet, passed away April 13th, 2014. Born in Rochester in 1922, graduated from Brighton High School in 1940, the University of Rochester in 1944. He served in U.S. Army 1944 - 1946, and upon his discharge went to Schenectady, NY to work for GE as an engineer until 1984. Jack retired to Butler Center, NY and served as assistant town assessor for many years. Jack was predeceased by his parents, his brother William and wives Marjorie, Elinor & Connie. He is survived by his sister, Margery; sons, William, Randy (Debra), Jeff, Richard and Barry; grandchildren, Debi (David), Heather (Joe), Tanya, Rachel & Helen; and great-grandchildren, Joey and Sofia. He is also survived by nieces, Leslie, Allison, Melissa; nephews Robert, David and Paul; and caregivers, Dawn and Chrissie.

Jack was an avid collector and unabashed humorist, and was a lover of art, music, math, old movie musicals, his farm and his children.

There will be a Graveside Service on April 26th, 11 AM at Union Cemetery, Livonia Center, NY, followed by a celebration of his life at his residence, 4225 Butler Center Road, Savannah, NY, at 1 pm. Arr: Norton Funeral Home of Wolcott. Permanent on-line guest book available for signing at:
