Penfield: March 29, 2013 at age 53. She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years Jim; her children Nicole (Brian) Gomesky, Jaime and Michael; Grandson Dominic; Mother Ursula (Bob) Heywood; Sisters Monika, Susan, Michelle, Linda, Dawn; brothers John and Robert; many nieces, nephews and loving friends. Jackie was born on Oct 5, 1959 in Munich Germany. She graduated from East High School in 1977. On a beautiful day in September 1980 Jackie and Jim were married and started what was to be a wonderful life together. Jackie was a devoted wife and mother and truly loved her life and all the joy it brought her. Jackie worked at the Eastway Wegmans store for 20 years where she became close friends with many co-workers and customers. The outpouring of love from these friends is a real tribute to how much Jackie touched everyones hearts through the years. Jackie loved giving to the community. She was always first to volunteer, she organized many events especially those that helped the children. Always the mother, she mentored many of the younger people at work and especially enjoyed working with the Hillside program at Wegmans. She spent her time enjoying hiking, traveling, walks with her dog Sam, and foremost spending time with her family.
