He is Survived by his wife Maggie; sons, Johnnie Carter, John W carter, Vincent Sheppard and Marcus Sheppard; daughters Tanisha Williams and Melinda Carter; Brothers, Jim Carter, Jerry Carter and Charles Carter; sisters, Brenda Nestor and Carol Carter, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, a special cousin Grace Jeffries and other relatives and friends.
