Brighton: Suddenly on November 27, 2013 at age 86. Predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Mary Donovan; brothers, James and William; and sister, Margaret Malone.
Survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Joan (Quigley); sons, Jack (Anna) of Portland, Oregon; Michael of Hollywood, Florida; James (Janice) of Rochester, NY; Brian (Julie) of Hingham, Massachusetts; daughter, Diane (James) Quinlisk of Rochester, NY; grandchildren, Shannon (Mark) Anderson and Kelly (Nick) Hall of Portland, Oregon; Michael Andrews of Rochester, NY; Patrick, Seamus, Kaleigh and Colleen Donovan of Hingham, Massachusetts; brothers, Patrick (Patricia) and Francis (Jane) Donovan; many nieces and nephews.
Jack, a 1952 Boston College graduate, was Vice President/General Manager for Roehlen Engraving for 30 years. An avid golfer, Jack was a 49-year member of Locust Hill Country Club and past president 1975 and 1991. Born in Roslindale, MA, he moved to Rochester in 1961 and was a 6-month resident of Marco Island, Florida since 1991, where he was a former president of Shipps Landing Condominium Association.
Among his many interests, Jack loved traveling, gardening and dancing with his wife. Many thanks to Dr. Richard Gagnier for his dedicated care. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the

Friends may call Monday, December 2 from 4-7 PM at the funeral chapel (2305 Monroe Ave.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, December 3 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 150 Varinna Drive. Interment at White Haven immediately following.
