Gleason, Joseph Harold
Rochester: April 2, 2009. Predeceased by his wife of 62 years Margaret, & brothers, Lawrence Douglas & John Earl Gleason. He is survived by his children, Patrick (Anne) Gleason of Binghamton, NY, Terrence (Matt) Gleason of Raleigh, NC, Maureen (Thomas) Gray of Springfield, VA, Eileen (Douglas) Perryman of Webster, & Kathleen (Craig) Coon of Penfield; 16 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Betty Gleason, & Maryhill Gleason; also nieces & nephews. Joseph served during WWII in the Army Air Corps in the China-Burma-India Theater, retired from Kodak with 42 years of service, was a member of the Kodak Afterglow, active in Troop 37 BSA, Otetiana Council, & Scouter Youngtimers, a member of St. James Church Men's Club, & was an avid wood carver.
The family will receive friends to share memories MONDAY from 1 - 4 & 6 - 8 PM at CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME (495 N. Winton Rd., between Browncroft & Humboldt). Funeral Mass TUESDAY, 9:15 AM Peace of Christ Parish at St. James Church (Brockley Rd.). Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
