Taylor, Katherine Snow

Rochester: Died unexpectedly on Sunday, January 20, 2013. She was 85. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas C. Taylor, also of Rochester. She is survived by her sister, Nancy S. Middleton; her four children, John Faulkner, his wife Kathy, Bill Faulkner, his wife Karen, Sally Faulkner, her husband Chris Gordon, Liz Faulkner, her husband Walter Brett. She is also survived by her seven beloved grandchildren, Brittany Faulkner, Hillary Faulkner, Brad Faulkner, Matt Faulkner, Cali Faulkner, Henry Woolley and Elle Woolley.

Katherine, affectionately known as Kitty, had many interests in the arts. She was an able performer, a talented painter and photographer, a wonderful writer of odes. She was an accomplished floral arranger and became an accredited judge for the Garden Club of America. She loved to sail, she travelled widely, and she enjoyed playing bridge with her many friends. Her greatest joy was spending time at the family camp in the Adirondacks with her children and grandchildren.She was an active and valued member of a variety of civic organizations in Rochester.

A memorial service in honor of Kitty will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 26, in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 25 Westminster Road, Rochester, followed by a reception at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Rochester Memorial Art Gallery or to the Rochester Female Charitable Society.
