Katherine Wierenga Prins

September 14, 2010. After 32 years of living in a body that could not keep pace with her spirit, our beloved daughter is at home with God. Blessed with a contagious laugh and a vibrant personality, Katherine made friends everywhere and gave freely of her love. She was a special light in the lives of many.
Those who grieve her death and rejoice in the hope of life beyond life for her are her parents, Glenda and Thomas Prins; dear brother, Mark Edward Prins; grandmother, Annetta Prins; uncles and aunts, Edward & Wilma Wierenga, Bert & Mary Beth Wierenga, Richard Prins & Corinne Steensma, Daniel Prins, and Lori J. Prins; the staff and housemates of the Jennifer Lane Home (Heritage Christian Services) and her special friend, Michael Chialello.
Friends may call Sunday, 2-5 PM at the funeral chapel (1031 Ridge Rd., Webster). A service of thanksgiving for her life and witness to the resurrection will be held Monday, 11 AM at the United Church of Christ, Congregational, 570 Klem Road, Webster, NY 14580. Interment at White Haven Memorial Park.
