Buss, Margaret Taylor

Post Mills, VT: Age 90, died peacefully in Yuma, AZ surrounded by family and friends on April 1, 2013 after a valiant journey of some years. Born and raised in Rochester, also lived in Dansville and Webster, NY and Raleigh, NC. Survived by her beloved and devoted husband, Harry of 64 years; her children, Kathryn (Buss) Erspamer, Alan Richard Buss and Judith (Buss) Dixon; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law and her husband; and nephews. Predeceased by her sister, Dorothy Taylor Selden.

Margaret graduated from RIT in 1943 and Syracuse University in 1947, with a B.A. in fine arts and taught art for many years. She was an avid painter, seamstress and quilter.

With a heart so true and tender, she devoted her life to others with kindness and love; she was someone special, her memory will live forever, engraved within our hearts. We bless the years we spent with her and leave the rest to God.

Services will be held September 18, 2013, 1:00 PM at Arndt Funeral Home, 1118 Long Pond Road (South of Maiden Lane), Rochester, NY. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery.
