Fairport: Robert "Bob" Caswell died peacefully on November 1, 2013 after a long illness. Born June 11, 1935 in Evanston, IL, Bob lived most of his life in Rochester, NY. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl Edward and Agnes Caswell, sister, Ann Stapleton, and son, Thomas Edward. Survived by his wife of 52 years, Elizabeth N. Caswell, his brother, Joseph Caswell and his daughters Beth King (Bob), Nancy Devroy (Gary), Kay Spellane (Phil), Susan Bedemann (Tom) and grandchildren Elizabeth and Abby King, Jack Devroy, Kate and Ian Spellane and Clare and Tommy Bredemann.
Bob, a graduate of LeMoyne College, spent his career in the telecommunications industry. The consummate sales professional, his career provided him many opportunities to travel throughout the world. However, Bob never denied his greatest achievement was living in a house with five women and one shower. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
No prior calling hours. A mass celebrating Bob's life will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St Ann's Chapel, 1500 Portland Ave., Rochester, NY 14621.
