Maier, Robert L.
Ontario: Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, age 71. Predeceased by his daughter, Christine. He leaves his wife of 40 years, Gail; sons, Jason C. & Brian J.; brother, Larry (Laurie); nephews, Christopher & Jeffrey; sisters-in-law, Dianne Whitmore & Marilou Whitmore; cousins, including Michael (Phyllis), William (Maria) and Tony Dewhirst; beloved dog, Tobey. Bob was a graduate of the U of R with a BS & MS in optics. He was a retiree of Corning Tropel after nearly 4 decades of service. He was credited with several design patents for that company. Bob formerly played trumpet for the Pittsford Fire Dept. Marching Band.
