Thompson, Sally L. (Manktelow)

Williamson: Entered into rest on March 3, 2011 in her 73rd year. Survived by her beloved and devoted husband, Ronald "Red" Thompson; loving daughters, Pamela (Steven) DeLyser of Marion, DeAdria (Todd) Eaton of Williamson, Carla (Dan) Hauser of FL; step-children, Joseph Thompson of Red Creek, Rhonda (Wilfred) Ahart of Marion, Mary Thompson of MA, Judi West of Sodus; 10 adored grandchildren; sister-in-law, Anne Manktelow of Williamson; nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. Predeceased by her parents, Maurice and Alice (DeLano) Manktelow; special daughter, Penny K. Sweet; and brother, Roger Manktelow.

Family and friends are invited to call Monday evening March 7th from 6-8 PM at the Young Funeral Home, 4025 West Main St., Williamson, where a celebration of her life will be held Tuesday morning at 10 AM. Private Interment, Marion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be directed in her memory to the Williamson Volunteer Ambulance Service, PO Box 99, Williamson NY 14589.

It seems like only yesterday that I was sitting in the same classroom as Sally at WCS. My thoughts are with all of you at this very sad time.
