Fess, Sue (Anna Sue) (McGimsey)
Rochester: October 6, 1915 - May 2, 2010 - Veteran, U.S. Army Nurse during WWII.
Predeceased by her husband, Al, 2008. Survived by her brother, David McGimsey of NC; sister-in-law, Alice Fess; & by her children, Carol & Geoff Helfond, Peggy & Gordy Fox, Ed, & Connie Fess, & David Fess; 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; many nieces & nephews. Thank you to the staff on Floor 6 at St. Ann's Home, for their caring & kindness during Sue's stay.
The family will receive friends to share memories TUESDAY, 4 - 8 PM at CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME (495 N. Winton Rd., between Browncroft & Humboldt). Private interment White Haven Memorial Park. For those wishing, please consider honoring Sue with a donation to the St. Ann's Foundation (1500 Portland Ave., Rochester, NY 14621). Online Condolences welcomed at:

My heartfelt sympathy to your family. My mom (Josephine Kamas) was
at St. Ann's until her passing in November and I befriended Anna during my daily visits. Anna sang songs and spoke of her nursing career often. May God forever hold her and may she be eternally at peace. Linda Nerges
