Gates: Cherished wife and mother, went peacefully to the Lord on Sunday, August 24, 2014, at age 87. Predeceased by her loving husband of 61 years, Joseph A. "Red" Murano; son, Joseph V. Murano; brother, Joe Lomedico; sisters, Maggie (Sam) DiPaolo, Josephine (Nick) Murgillo, Rosemary Gallo. She is survived by her children, Frank (Donna) Murano, Liz Fargo, Mary Ann (Tom) Brown; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sister, Antoinette (Ray) Parrotta; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Carol Lomedico, Joe Gallo, George Dandrea, Sam and Jeanne Trapani; many nieces, nephews, friends and "The Gang". Mrs. Murano was a retiree of St. Mary's Hospital and a volunteer at Hope Hall.

No prior calling. On Saturday morning, September 6, friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 11:00 in St. Boniface Church. Interment, private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Hope Hall, 1612 Buffalo Rd. Rochester, NY 14624 or to St. Boniface Church, 330 Gregory St., Rochester, NY 14620 in her memory. Ursula's family would like to thank the staff at 4100 at Unity Hospital and Lifetime Care Hospice for their loving and compassionate care.
