Price, Virginia M.
Newark: On June 28, 2013 at age 95. She is survived by her two daughters Barbara (Robert) DesCamp of Magnolia, Texas and Carol Boyce of Newark; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons; several nieces and nephews. Virginia was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Raymond in 2005; a daughter Madelyn DeWispelaere Scherer in 2004 and six siblings Ida Mattoon, Mary Raes, Jennie VanDamme, Frank, Ed and George Zeger.
Friends may call from 4 -7 P.M. on Tuesday (July 2nd) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 A. M. on Wednesday (July 3rd) at St. Michael Church. Burial will be in East Newark Cemetery.
Memorials, in her name, may be made to the St. Michael Church, 401 S. Main St., Newark, NY 14513 or the Wayne County Humane Society, 1475 County House Rd, Lyons, NY 14489.
The family wishes to thank The Terrace of Newark for making mom's stay there enjoyable. Also, a special thanks to Connie and the staff of Canalside and the hospice staff at the Wayne County Nursing Home for their compassionate care during mom's last days.
