Arthur "Art" Gresens, 88, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2010 of heart failure in Melbourne, Fl.

Art was born in Rochester, NY on July 29, 1922. He proudly served in the US Air Force as a bomber pilot in World War II and retired after 20 years in 1982 as a Major.
Art was an avid painter and won several awards for his work. He taught art classes in Florida and inspired many with his love of painting. He also loved camping, fishing and boating.
Art is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jeanne (Benham) of Melbourne, Florida; his son Mark (Karen) of Warwick, RI; his daughter Karen Barden (Marty) of Canandaigua NY; two sisters, Joyce Webster (Milo) of Yarmouth Port MA; June Damond of West Yarmouth, MA; and four granddaughters, Lauren, Kathryn, Megan and Sydene.
Interment will be at 10:30 on September 25 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Canandaigua with Military Honors. Immediately following at 11:00 a Memorial Service will be held at the First United Methodist Church, Canandaigua, NY and a reception to honor his memory. The family requests donations be made to
