This is one of the reasons why I hate google. It seems every time I think of someone who had great influence on me throughout my life I turn to google and discover that they are either sick or have passed away. I renewed the guest book simply to tell Terry and Norm's family that as high school buddies at Aquinas he was the best friend I have ever had. I loved him like a brother and just knowing Norm made me want to be a better person. I was his sidekick when he fell for Terry. Wow! He was crazy in Love and that was never going to end. My heart goes out to everyone who has ever been touched by Norm. For surely there is a void in all of us now.

I only knew Norm through golf at Eaglevale where I met him almost 20 years ago. One of the truly nicest and genuine men I have ever met. I arrived home from vacation when my brother told me of Norm's passing. Heaven is a better place now.

I knew NORM since the First Grade at St. Andrew's School. (68 years ago). Around 1955 ... NORM told me the story of how he wasn't supposed to make it ......he weighed under 2 pounds when he was born...and his mother brought him home because she didn't want him to die in the hospital. She kept him warm in a shoe box and kept him over one of the Heat Registers. Well..as we
know now... he lived another 75 years.
I never believed the story...until I saw him about 10 years ago and asked him again if that story was really true. Well...he told me the story exactly the way he told me back in 1955...even the part about an uncle he had that was a doctor and the doctor and his mother kept him living in that little shoe box. Theresa probably knows the whole story. I remember little TERRI PECORA when she was about 16 or 17. She could have slept in a little shoe box herself. She was little...and very cute.

Norm was a kind and caring man who enjoyed all that life had to offer. He was a dedicated transportation professional, spending the last 15 years as a school bus driver for the Fairport Central School District. Norm looked out for his students and enjoyed watching their personalities develop. He enjoyed coming to work and being a part of our team. In between runs, Norm was an avid golfer who enjoyed the company of his family and friends.
We will miss Norm and send our support to his family during this difficult time.
