Thompson, Gary C.

Parma: On March 16, 2014, at age 69. He is survived by his wife, Beverly (Gibbs) and children, Wendy L. (Steven) Bonter, Sarah R. (Kevin) Magri, Carrie L. (Andrew) Paddyfoote, Aaron C. (Winnie) Thompson & Nathan W. Thompson; grandchildren, Brandon, Heather & Kayla Bonter, Bryant & Mya Mahon, Liam & Luke Magri, Kristen, Angelica, Alexxis, Anna & Douglas Paddyfoote, Tristan, Naia, Mason Thompson; sisters, twin-Gail Johnson and Ruth (John) Mathes; brother, Ross (Christine) Thompson; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles & Hannah (Harding) Thompson and also his son-in-law, Derek A. Mahon.

Gary was an Air Force Veteran, retiree of Wegmans and a member of Teamsters Local Union #118, a 45 year member of Renovation Lodge #97 F.&A.M., Albion. Past Master of Clio Lodge #779 F.&A.M., he was also a member of Hiram Chapter #62, RAM, Cyrene-Monroe Commandery #12 Knights Templar, Genesee York Rite College #25, Damascus Shrine Masons Damascus Temple #2, Valley of Rochester AASR, Lalla Rookh Grotto M.O.V.P.E.R., Rochester Forest #133, Etoleah Chapter #183 O.E.S., and received the Knights York Cross of Honor. Also a life member of Ferris-Goodrich American Legion Post #330.

Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9PM at THOMAS E. BURGER FUNERAL HOME, 735 East Ave., Hilton. Masonic and Eastern Star Memorial Services will be held during the evening calling hours. Gary's Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 10AM in the Funeral Home. Interment Parma Union Cemetery with Military Honors.
