Greece: April 16, 2014. Salvatore was a loving husband to Dora (Perrotta) for 72+years; a model father to: Annette (Paul) DeCarolis, Vincent (Cathy) DiSchino, Mary {Jo}(Fred) Whalen; a loving " Pa" to his grandchildren: Louis (Cindy Carroll) DeCarolis, John DeCarolis, Jerry DeCarolis, Sally (Craig Cashen) DeCarolis, Jodi (Eric Lanpher) DiSchino- Lanpher, Chris (Nikki Dewey) DiSchino, Joe and Michael Whalen; adoring great-grandfather to: Michael, Zuraya, Nicole, Andrew, Hailey, Dominic and Giana; brother to Betty DeStefano; brother-in-law to Anna Giuliano; uncle to many admiring nieces and nephews, valued friend to neighbors, paisani and co-workers. Sal was an alumnus of RIT and retiree of Eastman Kodak Co. He was an officer of the Societa Marinae Elenese, the Gaeta Society, Secretary-Treasurer of the Gaeta Bowling League, Tenor in Most Precious Blood Choir, a member of the Italian-American Business Men's Association, devoted volunteer for the Missionaries of the Precious Blood and faithful player in the Golf Card Club.
