Pittsford: June 3, 2014. She is survived by her parents, Susan Perry of Pittsford and Michael Voltz of Long Island; brothers, Matthew and Kevin Voltz of Pittsford; maternal grandparents, Ronald and Jean Perry of Newfane, NY; paternal grandmother, Marie Voltz of Massapequa, NY; aunts and uncles, Steve (Paula) Perry, Tom (Sue) Voltz, Ann (Walter) Becker, Peter (Camille) Voltz, Teresa (Dale) Pescitelli and many cousins.

She was a beloved daughter to Susan and Michael who also had a special relationship with her two brothers, Matt and Kevin. Lisa was a beautiful, kind woman with a passion for helping others.

Lisa was born in Poughkeepsie, NY and graduated from Arlington High School in Lagrangeville. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Empire State College while living in Lockport, NY. She worked as a mental health counselor and at crisis services during her years pursuing her Bachelor's.

Lisa was a graduate student studying for her Master's Degree in Social Work at Nazareth College. While at Nazareth, she worked in two assistant-professorships. She also worked with several agencies in Rochester mentoring young people.

Friends may call Sunday, 4-7 PM at the funeral chapel (2305 Monroe Ave.). A Funeral Service will be held Monday, 11 AM at Linehan Chapel, Golisano Academic Center, Nazareth College, 4245 East Ave., Rochester. Private interment will be held at Hartland Cemetery in Niagara County. Contributions may be made to the Nazareth College Social Work program in honor of Lisa Voltz.
