Rochester, NY: Passed away on July 2, 2014 at age 85. Predeceased by her husband Gerard Minnehan, Father (Charles) and Mother (Virginia), sister (Virginia) and Aunt (Margaret) Murphy. Survived by her children Ed, Tom, Terry, Michael, Ginger Gadawski (Tony Gadawski), Shawn and three daughters-in-law, Susan, Cheryl, and Lori. She is survived by seventeen grandchildren and two great-grand children.

Mary Ann was the daughter of Charles and Virginia Murphy, a prominent Rochester defense attorney, and one of the original Kodak models. She graduated from Livonia, class of 1947, and attended Nazareth college. Mary Ann was a pioneer in the woman's business world, entering the work force in the early 1960's. Retired as the first female vice president of a national insurance company, Sedgewick James. In the 1970's she was the national chairman of the woman's task force for Aetna. She continued practicing until she was 82. Mary Ann loved spending time with her grandchildren at her homes in Stuart, Florida and in Rochester, New York. Starting in a golf league in 1960, she had an avid passion for the game until the final days of her life. She was a member of Latta Lee, Lake Shore C.C. and Brockport C. C. She enjoyed her time on the boards of St. Joseph's Villa, and Holy Cross parish council. Mary Ann loved her friends, family and her community. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family members.

Her memorial service will be held at Holy Cross Church, 4492 Lake Avenue, Rochester, NY 14612, Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 9:30 AM. Donations may be made in Mary Ann's honor to Holy Cross Church.
