Perinton: Died at home on July 2, 2014. Born October 19, 1946 in Rochester, he was a graduate of Aquinas Institute and St. John Fisher College. Predeceased by parents, William and Frances Wittman LaManna. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Claire F. McCormack; son, Joseph and wife Laura, children, Taylor, David and Michael; daughter, Jessica and fiance Eric J. Paquin; brother, Thomas, wife Diane and son, Misha of CO; sister, Patricia; brother, Daniel and wife Linda and son, William; granddaughter, Jamie Hughes and husband, Ryan; Aunt Josephine DeOude and many cousins.
Joseph was a certified public accountant in Rochester for more than 40 years. He was a past president of Rochester Chapter of NYSSCPA. He was a kind and honorable man who always gave his best effort to family, friends and clients. He loved boating and fishing and, in recent years, the sound of his backyard waterfall. He will be fondly remembered by all for his wonderful laugh.
Family, friends and clients are invited to attend a Memorial Gathering on Thursday, July 10 from 4:30-6:30 PM at Midvale Country Club, 2387 Baird Rd., Penfield, NY.
