Farchione, Amelia (Palumbo) "Mimi"

Fairport: July 19, 2014 passed away peacefully at home at age 93 surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her devoted husband of 72 years, Daniel; daughters, Mary Jean (Gerald) Gears, Joanne (Richard) Davis, Linda (Richard) Farchione Hawks, Donna (Bryan) Williams, Sharon (Michael) Ross; 1 son, Daniel (Mary Beth) Farchione; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Rita Palumbo and Mary Lou Farchione. Dan and Mimi were co-founders of Turin Swim and Tennis Club which they owned and operated for many years and continues to be enjoyed by families today. Mimi is recognized by the National Women's Hall of Fame, The Book of Lives and Legacies. Mimi will always be remembered for the unconditional love and support of her family especially for her husband following his WWII POW experience.

Friends may call at the RICHARD H. KEENAN FUNERAL HOME, 7501 PITTSFORD PALMYRA ROAD, FAIRPORT (EGYPT LOCATION), Wednesday 4-7 PM. Her life will be celebrated Thursday 10 AM at St. John's of Rochester, 8 Wickford Way, Fairport and live streamed Final resting place, White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or Catholic Charities.
