Dear Connie, Savannah, Michela,

I never met you, yet, but through Mike I learnt that you are a fantastic family. I was fortunate to meet your Father, Husband Mike. I spent alot of time travelling the world with Mike, sometimes it felt like I spent more time with him than with my family. Mike and I liked eachother from the start. It is just a couple of weeks ago I talked with Mike over the phone, he was the strong Mike that I got to know.

Mike thanks for everything I will miss you with all my heart. Your friend

Dear Contestable family,

It is with great sadness that I received the message that Mike passed away at such a premature age.

I got to know Mike some years ago while working together on research projects within Getinge Infection Control. Mike was a person who not only had great professional skills but also personal qualities that I value and greatly admire. Simply put, Mike and I got along really well.

Mike brought a great spirit to the meetings we attended together. His knowledge and enthusiasm, combined with his personal qualities, were infectious for the entire group.

When Mike and I traveled together he always insisted that we have good accommodations as well as good meals. I always appreciated his company, especially as a foreigner, because he was confident and assuring. I truly enjoyed knowing and working with Mike.

I will miss you Mike.

My deep sympathies,

Gert (Linder)

Agostine, Mary and family, although death is a natural part of life, there is something so unnatural about mourning such a great person so young. Even though your lives are forever changed, your purpose remains the same...so may God keep you strong and find comfort in all the momories you share.

Dear Mary,
We met on a difficult road and travelled side by side fighting for the survival of our loved ones every step of the way. I wanted our journey together to be a long one, unfortunately, fate had other plans.
My heart is so heavy for you and your family. There is nothing more that you can do for Mike (and no one could have done more than what you did). It's now time to begin your own healing. May you and your loved ones come to peace with the changes life will bring and know laughter & happiness once again with the fond memories that Mike left behind.
