Miner, Willis W. "Bill"

Wolcott-Rochester: Passed away April 10, 2011 at the age of 94. He is survived by his life partner and best friend, Raymond C. Purlee. Willis always preferred to be called Bill. Bill was a World War II Veteran, and also a baker for many years with his own bakery known as Thurston Bakery for over thirty years and then went to work for Wegmans on Brooks Avenue Bakery until he retired in 1986. He was an active volunteer for the soup kitchen at Saint Peter and Paul Church on East Main Street for twenty years. Bill enjoyed his retirement at his home on the lake where he passed away peacefully with his loved ones.

All Services were private & his resting place is in Sodus Rural Cemetery. Arr: by Young Funeral Home, Williamson.
