West Palm Beach, FL: December 11, 2011 at age 72 after a 10 year battle with Kidney failure. A wonderful loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle will be dearly missed. Welcomed into Heaven by his wife, Sandy (Curran) Caiazzo; parents, Ann and Ralph Caiazzo. Survived by his second wife, Marge; his daughter, Mary (Brett) MacBeth; step-daughter, Virginia (Don) Shelhamer; grandchildren, Nathan and Madeline MacBeth; step-grandchildren, Tiffany, DJ, and Hannah Shelhamer; sister, Marie (John) Collins; brothers, Paul (Gerry), Ralph Jr.; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. John was proud to have served our country for a total of 20 years as a Marine Staff Sergeant (active 14 years and retired from the Reserves after 6 years). Also John retired from the US Postal Service after 24 dedicated years. John was a member of the Marine Corp League, Red Man Club, Genesee Valley Club and was a Eucharistic Minister at his church.
Friends may call Wednesday 3-7 PM at Dierna Funeral Home, 2309 Culver Road (near Norton). His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday 9 AM at Sacred Heart Cathedral. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make contributions to
