Rochester: Lived in Rochester for 60 years. He was a lover of life who lived to the fullest while traveling the world and being a compassionate friend. He passed after a brief battle with cancer, on January 11, 2012, with family by his side. Predeceased by parents John and Mary Weiler, younger sister Kathy Whelehan. Survived by loving wife Suzanne, brother Tony (Annie) Weiler, sister Ann (Boyd) Kelsey, Whelehan family, stepsons Jeremy (Colleen) Thompson, Kaleb Lucklaran, step grandchildren Allysa and Kaidyn Thompson, many loved sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, special nieces and nephews. Previously employed at Chase Lincon Bank and Admar Supply Co.
A specal thank you to his Foosball and Backgammon buddies and their spouses who showed so much love and support to Mike in his final weeks.
A celebration of his life will be held at Powder Mill Park, Sunday, January 22nd from 12:00pm to 6:00pm at North Lodge. All friends and family are welcome. A special dedication of life will be held at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Boy Scouts of America, of which he was a proud Eagle Scout, via Seneca Waterways Council, Boy Scouts of America, 474 East Avenue, Rochester, NY, 14607.
