Phyllis Ameele Obituary
Liverpool, NY: Phyllis M. (Buteyn) Ameele, 81, of Liverpool, NY, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012. Born in Alto, WI, she was a former resident of Rochester, NY, Cape Coral, FL, Lewisville, TX, and Cottage Grove, MN. Survivors include her loving husband of 55 years, Warren Don Ameele; two sons, Gregory D. (Mary) of Webster, NY and Geoffrey R. (Jimmy Wachter) of Liverpool, NY; sister, Kay Deboer of WI; six grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Also, her best friend, Hope Wiech, "The Supper Club", Char Milks and Bill Brown. The family wishes to thank Dr. Poiesz, Upstate Oncology Staff and 10E Oncology Unit for their special care.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 1 PM at Pitcher Hill Community Church, 605 Bailey Road, North Syracuse. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Upstate Cancer Center Campaign, 750 E. Adams Street, CAB326, Syracuse, NY 13210 or www.foundationforupstate.org. Condolences may be offered at www.faroneandson.com.
