Dear John, Jane and family,
I am sorry to learn about the loss of your mother. My parents, George and Jerry Rentsch, were friends with Ellen and Ron. Sometimes our families would get together for dinner - I remember walking over to Seneca Park from your house. I always thought your mother was very smart! After their spouses died, my Dad and Ellen remained friends - a few years ago on a visit to Rochester I had dinner with the two of them in a restaurant. During the course of our meal, Ellen gave me a small geography lesson! My parents valued her friendship and I am glad to have known her too. My sympathy to you.

Dear family,
My favorite teacher at West High School was Miss Baist. She was warm, freindly, had a great smile and drew me in with her stlye of teaching to whatever the subject was. I was on the Jr.Town Meeting of the Air and it was not only a class assingment but it was fun because of her encouragement and way of making us think to be able to debate a delicate topic.
She was a gifted teacher and a very gracious person.
Blessings, Susan Pollock Fuhrman
