Kewin, Barbara L.
The Guest Book is expired.
Henrietta: On November 5, 2012 after a courageous 2 ½ year battle with the effects of a stroke suffered in 2010. She was beloved wife to Robert B. Kewin, precious mother and treasured friend.
Barbara was born in Rochester, New York and attended Charlotte High School and Stephen's College in Missouri where she majored in fashion design. She later did fashion illustration for the newspaper. After her marriage, she used the amazing artistic talent she had in many different ways. She was an amazing wife and mother and excelled at everything she put her hand to. She was VERY active in her church and made a significant impact on many women's lives. There are not words that can explain the legacy she left behind. She was truly God's treasure to every life she touched, especially her family.
Barbara is survived by her husband Robert, three children, Jeffrey, Lawrence and Wendy. Also Jeffrey's wife Emily and their children Jason and Charissa, Jason's new wife Julia, Lawrence's wife Carla, their two sons Darryl and Austen and Wendy's two sons, Matthew and Timothy. She also had two great-grandchildren, Skylar and Tim Jr.
Mom-you will be missed, but we thank you for the amazing, lasting influence you have had on ALL our lives. We are better people because of your unending love, care and unselfishness. So many times, you were God's arms around us.
Thank you for introducing us-and reflecting the love of the most important person in our lives-Jesus Christ.
We love you wife, mother and friend.
"And she shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever."
Barbara Louise Kewin-God's amazing treasure.
