Irondequoit: November 7, 2012 at the age of 92. Predeceased by her husband George G. Rehberg III; son-in-law, Gary Adler; brothers, Jacob Keymel and Richard Keymel; sisters, Josephine VanLoon and Janet Langlois. Survived by her beloved family: children, Mary (David) Williams, Gretchen Rehberg, George (Paula Hollinger) Rehberg IV, Sigrid Adler, Geoffrey Rehberg, Garth (Gina) Rehberg; 11 darling grandchildren, Bailea, Lavinia, George V, Jesse, Rachel, Gene, Rudy, Garth, Seth, Kyle and Elsie, and their respective spouses; 8 great-grandchildren; Canadian grand-daughter, Diana D'Juran; daughter-in-law, Linda Spernak; sister-in-law, Claire Keymel; many nieces and nephews and dearest friend, Liliane Wilk.

Elsie began her career in education upon graduation from Brockport Teachers College in 1942. She shared her gifts as a teacher and guidance counselor for 40 years, retiring from the East Irondequoit School District. Her lifetime of compassion has left a legacy of healed hearts for a great many.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 14, 4-7 PM at the DREIER-GILTNER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1717 Portland Ave. (at the corner of Portland and East Ridge Rd.). Elsie's Funeral Service will be Thursday, November 15th at 11 AM at the Brighton Reformed Church (805 Blossom Rd.) Interment immediately following at Irondequoit Cemetery.
