Hilton: Minerva "Mickey" O'Connor, age 76, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Dec. 28, 2012. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Richard O' Connor; three daughters, Darlyn O'Connor, Danene (John) Etz and Cari (Andrew) Greco; nephew Philip Kennard; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and foster children. She was predeceased by her son, Dana Daniels in 2006.
Mickey was born in Canandaigua and was the daughter of Sibley and Elsie Nott. She was a graduate of John Marshall High School. In 1964, she married the man of her dreams, Richard. Mickey was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. She had great compassion for people and was kind to everyone she met. Mickey was a longtime member of First Bible Baptist Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was faithful to the Lord in everything she did.
A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held Friday, January 4 at 11 a.m. at First Bible Baptist Church, 990 Manitou Rd., Hilton. Interment will be in Andrews Cemetery, Bristol. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace & Truth Sports Park, c/o First Bible Baptist Church, 990 Manitou Rd., Hilton, NY 14468.
