My deepest condolences to Doll's family. Doll was an awesome woman. I remember watching her, Janet, Ronnie, and others play softball. She is in heaven now, restored, and seeing friends whom passed before. Doll will be missed by many of those who called her friend as Doll knew the true meaning of friendship. Doll had tremendous courage and fought her fight, she did not lose the fight it was time for her to go on to a new level of life. Doll I will miss you.

Dolores, you were a dear friend for many years and it was such a pleasure to have known you. Every time we spoke our last words were..."keep fighting", followed by "I will". I've never witnessed such a courageous fight and will to live. In my mind, you are still living, in our hearts and minds, and at the next level, running and playing with "Duke" and "Ashley". Rest in peace my friend. You will always be remembered.

What I remember most about Dolores is going over to her house on Sunday afternoons. We would sit in the living room and listen to the Carole King Tapestry album over and over again. We knew every word on that album. One of the songs that we loved was "Way Over Yonder". One of the verses goes like this - I know when I get there, the first thing I'll see is the sun shining golden, shining right down on me. Then trouble's gonna lose me, worry leave me behind and I'll stand up proudly in true peace of mind. I'm so happy that we got to talk again over the last year. You were a great friend and I will never forget you. Rest in peace.

Aunt Doll, I miss you so much. Words can not express the sorrow I feel yet I am so thankful that God called you home so you do not have to suffer anymore. I know you were in so much pain but you never complained. You were one of the strongest women I know. You are now an angel looking down on me and my boys. I love you and will miss you always.
