Shuba, Leo J.

Scranton: 80, formerly of Rochester, NY died Sunday. His devoted and loving wife of 54 years is the former Joan Manoski.

Born June 21, 1933, in Scranton, he was the son of the late John and Lottie Gutowski Shuba. He proudly served our country during the Korean Conflict with the US Navy. Prior to his retirement, Leo worked for 31 years at Eastman Kodak and ESL Federal Credit Union, Rochester, NY.

Also surviving are a son, Carl, Rochester, NY; a daughter, Denice, Harrison, NJ; a brother, Joseph and wife, Bonnie, Lancaster; two sisters, Dorothy Slater and husband, Robert, Kearny, NJ; Maryann O'Neill, Huntington, NY;

The funeral will be Friday at 8:45 a.m. from the Semian Funeral Home, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Saints Peter and Paul Church, W. Locust St., West Scranton. Interment with military honors will be in St. Mary Czestochowa Cemetery, Moosic. Friends may call Thursday 4-7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
